Police investigate stolen vehicle in New Tecumseth

Officers from the Nottawasaga Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police are investigating the theft of a motor vehicle from a residential property in New Tecumseth.
At approximately 7 a.m. on Dec. 3, officers were dispatched to a report of a stolen vehicle from a residence on Atkinson Crescent.
The theft is believed to have occurred earlier that morning, around 2:15 a.m.
The stolen vehicle is described as a white 2023 RAM 1500 pickup truck bearing the Ontario license plate BW84050 and is valued at approximately $78,000.
Video surveillance obtained shows a black GMC 1500 pickup truck arriving in the area. Two suspects exited the GMC and approached the residence.
One suspect was observed approaching the front door while the other entered the RAM parked in the driveway. By 2:18 a.m., both vehicles had left the area.
Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed suspicious activity in the area or who may have relevant video surveillance footage to contact the Nottawasaga OPP at 1-888-310-1122, quoting Report # (E251626304).
