Members of the Nottawasaga Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police are investigating an act of mischief at a school in Alliston.
The Nottawasaga OPP were notified by school officials at Holy Family Catholic School on Monday (Mar. 20) that numerous school windows had sustained damage at some point over the March break holiday.
Officers attended the scene and commenced an investigation which included taking photographs of the damage.
In total, 19 pieces of glass in both doors and windows were damaged. Police observed evidence pointing to the use of BB/pellet guns.
Police are asking that anyone with camera footage of the area check for suspects. Police are also appealing to parents of students to speak with their children about the impact this type of vandalism has on the school community and the community as a whole.
