Premier Kathleen Wynne was in Alliston last Thursday morning (April 6) for a tour of Matthews House Hospice (MHH). Wynne toured the Community Hospice on Highway 89 (across from the Nottawasaga Inn) to learn more about the service it provides and future plans for the government and privately funded organization, dedicated to people at end of life, and those with chronic or long-term illnesses and their families. Premier Wynne adds her thumb print to the “Tree of Hope” on display at the Community Hospice in Alliston that reads: “Help us spread inspiration, hope and positivity. Share a finger/thumb print and message to others. Thank you for your generous kindness. The Matthews House Team.”
