Stevenson Memorial Hospital is under investigation by the provincial government, and investigators are seeking input from the public regarding their experience at the hospital.

A statement issued, says “The Government of Ontario recognizes that Stevenson Memorial Hospital is an important part of the community of Alliston [and] New Tecumseth and surrounding areas. In order to ensure optimal hospital performance and service delivery, it has ordered an investigation into the hospital.”

As part of the investigation, investigators are seeking input from the public regarding the care experience and services offered at the hospital.

Feedback will remain anonymous and only common themes will be included in the final report to the Minister of Health.

A survey is available online at the Stevenson Memorial Hospital website.

The survey requests information regarding patient experience and quality of service while attending the hospital as both an in-patient and visits to the emergency department.

If you would like to use the survey to include your input, the survey will be available until May 23, 2024.
