Queen Street resurfacing in Tottenham delayed until next year

Tottenham residents will have to wait until the spring before they can enjoy a smoother ride down Queen Street.
As part of the Town’s Road Improvement Program, Queen Street between Nolan Road and 177 Queen Street South was planned for resurfacing this year.
That timeline has now changed.
Work on the main street is now expected to begin in spring 2026, starting with milling, followed by resurfacing.
No reason for the delay was issued by the Town.
A detailed notice will be shared before work begins.
The notice will be hand-delivered to nearby properties and posted on the Town’s website.
Updates during construction will be shared the same way.
