Realtors donate $7,500 to Hospital Foundation

The Stevenson Memorial Hospital Foundation has received a donation of $7,500 from the Lorne and Sandy Downey Team from Coldwell Banker Ronan Realty.
The donation will go toward the Foundation’s ‘Because of you, we can’ campaign to help with the redevelopment of the hospital.
The Downey’s are inspired by the organizations that support the community and are excited to give back.
“We feel so fortunate to have our very own hospital in our community,” Lorne and Sandy said. “We’ve had to use it several times ourselves over the course of raising three children and [we] are happy to give back when we can. Our little town is growing and with it, the need for a bigger, better facility. We are so pleased to be able to make this donation and help SMH to reach their goal.”
Earlier this year, The Morningview Foundation committed to match all donations received between April 2, 2022, to December 31, 2022, dollar-for-dollar, up to $1 million.
“The Lorne and Sandy Downey Team from Coldwell Banker Ronan Realty have engaged in the Real Estate Challenge at SMHF to help meet the needs of our community,” said Mary Thomas, CEO of SMHF. “Their gift of $7,500 puts us one step closer to our fundraising goals here at Stevenson. Thank you, Lorne and Sandy, for supporting our community and Stevenson Memorial Hospital.”
