Tottenham’s newest business has opened its doors to provide the community with a place to strengthen their “mind, body, and soul connection.”
Wellspring’s Wellness Studio held a grand opening on Nov. 4 at its Queen Street location, and classes started on Monday, Nov. 6.
The studio is a bright, open, inviting space for several activities.
“This a wellness centre,” explained Studio owner Amanda Wellspring. “It’s a community space for mind, body, and soul connection. We have yoga, meditation, crystal healing, and more. We have fitness classes, and we’ll add more like dance classes and events like paint night.”
The studio has two large studios and a main open area for activities.
“I’ve hired in teachers, there will be 11 teachers doing the yoga, fitness classes – all the offerings,” Amanda explained. “Today is our grand opening, and classes start Monday. Kids are welcome here. We have kid’s yoga on Tuesdays, and we’ll have teen yoga and mom’s and tots yoga.”
The yoga classes will feature many different styles of yoga you can choose depending on your fitness level and what you are trying to achieve.
The studio will offer guided meditation sessions and will soon be offering crystal healing bowl sound baths.
For fitness, the studio will be offering a bodyweight boot camp. This class offers a full-body, high-intensity workout that helps to develop strength, power, coordination, and cardiovascular health through a series of body-weight exercises.
The studio is located in Tottenham, right at the four corners.
