The Rotary Club of Alliston has made a $10,000 donation to the Stevenson Memorial Hospital Foundation as part of its $50,000 commitment to the “Because of you, we can” campaign to support the hospital’s redevelopment project.

“On behalf of The Rotary Club of Alliston, we are proud to present this installment towards our total pledge of support for the redevelopment of our community hospital,” said Patricia Middlebrook, President, Rotary Club of Alliston. “The members of the Rotary Club of Alliston are proud supporters of our community and its needs. We are united in helping to reach the goal for the redevelopment of Stevenson Memorial Hospital.”

The Rotary Club made the initial pledge in March 2020.

To date, over $26 million has been raised towards the capital campaign bringing it to over 60 per cent of its $43 million goal.

“We are grateful to the Rotarians for their support of the redevelopment and look forward to celebrating together in the future as we reach milestones in the completion of this exciting project,” said Mary Thomas, CEO, Stevenson Memorial Hospital Foundation.

The “Because of you, we can” campaign, is the largest campaign in the Foundation’s history.

It will support the redevelopment of the hospital and includes a revitalized Emergency Department, doubling the square footage of the hospital, and tripling the amount of parking spaces.
