The Simcoe County Museum and the Historical Construction Equipment Association will be presenting another exciting edition of the Last Blast – a unique event showcasing the strength of vintage steam-powered machines.
This is an opportunity to step back in time and see vintage construction equipment roar to life with demonstrations.
From tractors to steam-powered rollers, shovels and road-building equipment, this a chance to see some raw steam power and see the way construction was done during the steam era.
There will be live demonstrations as well as static displays of machines.
While you’re there, you can also explore the museum grounds.
The Last Blast show will take place on Saturday, Oct. 12, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Special events admission prices are $10 for adults, $8 for seniors, $8 for youth, $5 for children (4 to 11) and free for preschoolers or museum members.
The Simcoe County Museum is located at 1151 Highway 26, Minesing.
