If you’re looking for something to do and are interested in artisan markets and all the special items they provide, the Simcoe County Museum will host the Simcoe County Quilt, Rug & Artisan Fair at the Museum for three days.
This event celebrates local artisans’ artistry, offering newcomers and seasoned enthusiasts a chance to explore traditional crafts like embroidery, quilting, weaving, pottery, rug hooking, and lace-making.
While at the Museum, guests can also enjoy the rich and varied selection of artifacts and the collection of heritage buildings on display.
The event will take place from Friday, Sept. 15, to Sunday, Sept. 17, at the Museum, from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. each day.
Event pricing applies. Tickets are $10 for adults, youth and seniors pay $8, and children are $5. Pre-schoolers and Museum members are free.
The Simcoe County Museum is located at 1151 Highway 26, Minesing.
