Trinity United Church in Beeton will be swinging with the sound of music from days gone by when the Skyliners Big Band comes to Beeton.
The church has been a place for music for over 140 years, and the tradition continues with this concert.
The Skyliners are a 17-member big band based in Barrie. They were established in 1993 and play at different venues where people really like the sound of big band music.
With saxophones, trumpets, trombones, a rhythm section, and lead singer, they perform the music of Miller, Ellington, and Bassie, as well as more contemporary hits you will enjoy.
You can sit back and listen to the music or swing to the music on the dance floor for a fun evening out. The Skyliners will perform a full two-hour concert of great music.
The concert is a fundraiser for the Trinity United Church’s building and programs.
The concert will take place on Saturday, May 6, and the music will start at 7:00 p.m.
Tickets are $25 per person.
You can get tickets by calling Sue at 905-729-2836 or the church at 905-729-3302 and leaving a message.
