The Stevenson Memorial Hospital Foundation (SMHF) has announced the success of the Lundy matching gift initiative, which has raised $128,250.

The initiative was led by Alan and Brenda Lundy to raise funds for the Centralized Fetal Monitoring System.

The Lundy family, esteemed supporters of the SMHF, initiated the campaign with a $50,000 matching donation. Their dedication to enhancing maternal and fetal healthcare at SMH reflects a profound connection to the institution as lifelong community members.

“This hospital is special. It is my birthplace and where all our children and two grandchildren were born,” said Brenda Lundy, encapsulating the family’s sentiment towards SMH.

Alan Lundy echoes her sentiment, highlighting their desire to reciprocate support to SMH for their years of exceptional care.

The Centralized Fetal Monitoring System revolutionizes healthcare by offering real-time monitoring, streamlined data management, and seamless integration, ultimately leading to the best care for mothers and babies.

This innovative technology is a major leap forward, and its success paves the way for even greater advancements in maternal health.

“We are deeply thankful for the Lundy family’s incredible generosity,” said Melody McLean, director of development and campaign manager at SMHF. “Their support will significantly enhance our healthcare services to mothers and babies at SMH. This matching gift will inspire others to contribute to this important cause.”

The Lundy Matching Campaign’s results showcase the community’s unwavering dedication to achieving healthcare excellence.

This campaign is a powerful example of how collective giving can truly make a difference.
