SMH closes unit to visitors due in increase in COVID-19

Stevenson Memorial Hospital has temporarily closed its medical and surgical in-patient unit to visitors.
The decision was due an increase of COVID-19 at the hospital.
Extenuating circumstances will be managed on a case-by-case basis. This may include end-of-life patients and those that have essential care partners.
The hospital has created a Hot Zone and a Cold Zone so that patient admissions can still be accepted at this time.
