Special Occasion Parking is available over the summer

The Town of New Tecumseth’s Special Occasion Parking Permit Program is back and will be running from April 16 to Nov. 14.
The program is designed to support short-term parking needs, allowing property owners to purchase permits that allow a vehicle to park on the street for up to 24 hours at a time.
This helps residents who are planning a special gathering, hosting guests, or other times when more parking space is required.
Each property is limited to 15 permits per year, making it a flexible option for occasional parking needs.
Unless otherwise posted, on-street parking in New Tecumseth is limited to five hours. Permits allow for an extension of that time.
The cost for the special permit is $12.30 + HST per permit.
Permits may be purchased at:
Town Hall, located at 24 Tupper Street West, Alliston, Monday to Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
New Tecumseth Recreation Centre – 7300 Industrial Parkway, Alliston, Monday to Friday between 6:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Tottenham Community and Fitness Centre – 139 Queen Street North, Tottenham, Monday to Friday between 6 a.m. and 10 p.m., Saturday and Sunday between 6 a.m. and 9 p.m.
