The Stevenson Memorial Hospital Foundation has announced the final numbers from the ‘Your Greatest Change to Meet Our Greatest Needs’ campaign.
From July 1 to Dec. 31, 2023, new donations to the campaign were matched by the Morningview Foundation.
The campaign raised $750,000, which the Morningview Foundation matched for a total of $1.5 million.
The Moringview Foundation has been a longtime supporter of Stevenson Memorial Hospital. The funds raised support the purchase of critical equipment, allowing the flexibility to invest where it is needed the most to improve community healthcare.
“We’re profoundly thankful for the community’s support in the success of The Morningview Foundation’s $750,000 matching gift,” said Mary Thomas, CEO of SMHF. “The doubled impact of every donation, combined with local support, has enabled us to raise an extraordinary $1.5 million. This achievement empowers Stevenson Memorial Hospital to address its greatest needs, ensuring enhanced healthcare services for patients, families, and staff.”
SMH president and CEO Jody Levac expressed thanks for the donations and matching effort by the Morningview Foundation.
“We are grateful for the continued support of The Morningview Foundation and, in turn, our community, who have helped make this match campaign a success,” Mr. Levac said. “Contributions such as these are so critical to the hospital as the costs for equipment needs, technology and capital infrastructure projects continue to increase. We rely on the generosity of the community to help fund these costs, which is why donations to the hospital are so important. A new hospital building for our community is very much needed, and it is donations like these that are going to help make it happen.”
