The Board of Directors of the Stevenson Memorial Hospital Foundation has announced that Frank Cerisano is the Foundation’s new Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
Mr. Cerisano brings many years of experience in hospital and healthcare fundraising. In the past, he has been with Bowmanville Hospital Foundation, Sheridan College of Applied Learning and Technology, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Woodstock General Hospital Foundation, and the Sunnybrook & Women’s Foundation.
“Frank has extensive experience building teams and navigating campaigns across Ontario and Canada,” said Dr. Ted Vandevis, the board chair of the Stevenson Memorial Hospital Foundation. “His ability to empower people and move campaigns will prove to be an asset as we raise the remaining funds for the redevelopment and expansion of our hospital.”
Mr. Cerisano holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from York University and a postgraduate diploma in Corporate Communications from Seneca College. He has been a member of several boards and committees. He lives with his family on the edge of Stevenson’s catchment area.
“With the ground-breaking scheduled for next year, I am excited to join the foundation and work with the community to complete the campaign,” Mr.Cerisano said. “Now more than ever, hospitals in Ontario need to be expanded. Together, we need to ensure our hospital has top-notch facilities and the latest equipment to provide the care our residents deserve.”
Mr. Cerisano will start with SMHF next week, on Sept. 3.
