If you are an artist, or think you have talent for creating nice images, Stevenson Memorial Hospital is looking for artwork for its 2026 holiday cards.

They are hoping to receive submissions from around the community, including families, local artists, students, and anyone with a special connection to the hospital.

There is no cost to enter. Four winners will be selected by age group, and each winning piece will be featured on the Stevenson Memorial Hospital Foundation’s holiday cards.

Age groups are 0-5, 6-13, 14-17, and 18 and above. If the artist is under 18 years of age, a parent or guardian must provide permission for the submission to be used.

Artists of all ages and skill levels are invited to submit an original piece of artwork inspired by the holiday season, the community, or Stevenson Memorial Hospital.

There are several guidelines for submissions.

Artwork should be 8.5 by 11 inches and must be created by the person submitting it.

All visual art mediums are welcome, including drawing, painting, illustration, collage, mixed media, digital art, and photography.

AI-generated work will not be accepted.

Bright, cheerful colours are encouraged. Do not include words, lettering, names, logos, or messages within the artwork.

Holiday-themed artwork is encouraged, but so is creativity.

Artwork that incorporates a Stevenson Memorial Hospital, healthcare, or community theme is especially welcome.

Only one submission per person is allowed.

In addition to being featured on a holiday card, winners will receive a prize.

The selected artists will be contacted directly and will receive recognition from the foundation.

The submission deadline is Sept. 30, 2026.
