Stevenson Memorial Hospital seeking board and advisory members

Would you like to contribute to the healthcare provided at Stevenson Memorial Hospital (SMH)?
SMH is currently looking for new board and advisory members.
The board provides strategic leadership and oversight of operations subject to the Public Hospitals Act, Hospital By-Laws and other requirements. The board represents a mix of skills, knowledge and experience required for operating a contemporary rural health care facility.
At present, the hospital is seeking individuals from the hospital’s catchment area who are prepared to offer their time, energy, and expertise to serve as volunteer board members. Knowledge of the issues facing the hospital and the healthcare system in Ontario would be an asset.
Specifically, SMH is looking for individuals with experience as clinical health care professionals and practicing or retired legal professionals.
Individuals with disabilities and those from diverse backgrounds and experiences are encouraged to apply.
