Stevenson Memorial Hospital in Alliston is adding Saturday to the days of operation at its COVID-19, Cold and Flu Clinic starting Dec. 24.
In partnership with community physicians, Stevenson Memorial Hospital is extending the operation of its COVID-19, Cold and Flu Clinic to include Saturdays starting on Dec. 24.
Clinic hours on Saturdays will be 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The clinic is available to anyone with mild to moderate or worsening symptoms of COVID-19 or the flu who would like to receive in-person care.
“This is an excellent option for families in need of health care over the holidays and beyond,” says Jody Levac, President and CEO, SMH. “If anyone is experiencing cold, flu or COVID-19 symptoms and would like to see a physician, they can book an appointment for the Clinic and avoid waiting in our Emergency Department. This will support our Emergency Department as well and help offset some of the pressure they are experiencing,” he adds.
Appointments are required to access the Clinic, which can be booked online at www.stevensonhospital.ca COVID-19 Clinic & Testing -> Book Online) or by calling (249) 501 0383. The Clinic is located in the lower parking lot of the hospital at 200 Fletcher Crescent in Alliston. The Clinic will continue to operate on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays as well.
Upon arrival, patients are asked to remain in their vehicle and call the Clinic to inform staff of their arrival. For safety purposes, staff will inform the patient when they can enter.
