Student performance sure to put you in the spirit

This is a Christmas concert not to be missed! If you have never attended one of John Dodington’s student performances then it is about time that you did. Once you have you are hooked!
The students range from 7 to 84 years of age, and will be performing not only as soloists but will sing together as a choral ensemble alongside of the choir of St. John’s United Church, Alliston. They will be accompanied by a variety of instruments including piano, organ, trumpet, trombone, French horn and a guitar. They will also be accompanied by you, as there will be lots of audience participation.
John Dodington is a professional singer who has called New Tecumseth home for over 30 years and has performed in countless concerts and musicals throughout his career including seven years as a cast member in the Toronto production of Phantom of the Opera.
John’s students perform two concerts a year, one in June and one in December. New Tecumseth has a lot of talented performers and this is a great way to showcase them and to give you a most enjoyable evening out that will surely put you in the Christmas spirit. Dodington says that he has seen the audience’s constantly grow over the years as the word spreads.
Please join them on December 16 at 7 p.m. at St. John’s United Church, Alliston (across from the Shoppers Drugmart). Admission is free will donation at the door.
