The Sugartones, a local acapella group, will be returning to the stage with their first live public show since 2019.
This popular local ensemble had to curtail its activity during COVID but has since regrouped and has a whole new line-up of music.
This new show, themed ‘The Power of Song’ will delight audiences with the unique and professional quality of sound of many voices in harmony. This will be the debut of the chorus’s new director Jeanette Martin.
During this new performance, the group will welcome a special guest, clarinetist Sean Derraugh, as well as the Music in Motion performers.
This show will take place at the Alliston Pentecostal Church (7810 Highway 89).
A matinee will take place at 2 p.m., with the evening show at 7 p.m. The doors will open at 1:30 p.m., and again at 6:30 p.m.
Admission is $25 for adults and $15 for children 12 and under.
For tickets to the special event, you can e-mail sugartones2012@gmail.com or contact Denise at 705-250-2404.
If you know a chorus member, you can contact them directly to inquire about tickets.
