Temporary early works construction projects will take place in the upper parking lot of Stevenson Memorial Hospital starting Wednesday, July 15, 2025, and will continue throughout the summer.
Construction is expected to last for five to six weeks.
The project includes the installation of stormwater management lines, new curbs, hydrant installation and preliminary work for a new parking lot.
As a result, some parking spots for patients and visitors will be affected. However, parking spots will still be available in the upper lot.
The hospital is providing additional parking spots in the lower parking lot adjacent to Riverdale Park and will be opening the hospital doors in the lower parking lot for patients and visitors.
The Hospital encourages visitors to drop patients off at the main entrance before proceeding to park. This is especially important for those with mobility limitations. The main entrance remains open for public use, 24 hours a day, seven days a week and all programs and services are operating as normal.
Signage and pathways will be visible in the hospital parking lots.
Use caution in parking areas during the construction timeframe.
