The Alliston Canadian Tire store donated $10,000 to the Stevenson Memorial Hospital Foundation from funds raised through its ‘Topple the Toffifee Tower’ challenge at the store.

Building on the success of its annual Toffifee sales, Canadian Tire Alliston continued its tradition of giving back by gifting donations to the Foundation.

The store sold 2,300 boxes of Toffifee and then pledged to match those funds for the full donation.

“We are very grateful for the continued support from Canadian Tire in Alliston,” said Mary Thomas, CEO of SMHF. “Their commitment to our community and the Stevenson Memorial Hospital Foundation is truly commendable. This generous $10,000 donation will make a significant impact on our ongoing efforts to enhance healthcare services for the community.”

The store had a Toffifee display that could be seen when entering the local Canadian Tire store. Customers were challenged to help ‘topple the tower’ by buying some of the product while knowing their purchase would go towards a donation to the local hospital.
