It was a very popular event with thousands of local residents and visitors enjoying a week-long celebration of Tottenham, ending with the closure of its main street for a full-on party.
However, Tottenham Community Week won’t be taking place this year.
Organizers have announced that the festival has been cancelled for 2025.
“It is with sadness and regret that we announce the cancellation of Tottenham Community Week for 2025,” organizers stated on the festival’s webpage. “Due to a lack of volunteers for board members and event leads, we are unable to mount our celebrations this year.”
The week-long festival would have an event every day of Tottenham Community Week, followed by the street party, which saw Queen Street and sections of Mill Street closed to allow vendors, rides, demonstrations, and music.
Festival organizers are hoping to continue with the event next year and are asking people to step and volunteer so the event can take place again.
