The Tottenham Conservation will be opening for the 2024 season on Friday, May 17.
While residents enjoy the park year-round by walking in and spending time by the pond or on the trails, camping season will now get underway and the pavilions will be available for group gatherings and other events.
There is a lot to do at the Conservation Area.
You can enjoy the beach, or bring your canoe and spend a day paddling.
The 18-hole Disc Golf course winds its way around the trees and hills for a challenging day of competition.
There is a beach volleyball court.
The pond provides some good catch and release fishing – a valid fishing license is required.
Picnic shelters and pavilions are available for parties and events.
The park is usually packed with summer campers. Many people arrive with a camper and spend a good part of the summer at the park.
The park offers a variety of serviced and un-serviced campsites.
Overnight camping reservations will open on May 17.
While there is a fee to enter the park, Town of New Tecumseth residents get free admission with proof of residency.
