Coming off the back of the Tottenham franchise’s most successful season since the Steam lifted the Russell Cup back in 2016, planning for the Tottenham Railers’ next season is well underway.

General manager Michael Prock and head coach Anthony Pullicino are busy working away behind the scenes and building a team that can challenge for the top honours next season.

The core group of players from last season remain, but there are some holes that have to be filled that were left by outgoing players – notably captain and leading points scorer, Xavier Charbonneau.

Throughout the off-season, the Railers’ executive will be providing details about new players.

The Railers have also announced their first annual golf tournament which will take place on Saturday, June 1, at the Silver Brooke Golf Club in Lisle.

All participants must register by May 27, with the fee being $150 per person and $500 for a foursome.

This includes prizes on certain holes and lunch at the turn.

Also coming up is a hockey tournament being held at the New Tecumseth Recreation Centre on June 28-29.

Teams of up to 21 players can register. The fee is $1,250 per team.

The Railers are seeking sponsors for the golf tournament and hockey tournament.

Sponsorship inquiries should be directed to Beth Prock, director of business operations, at beth@railershockey.com.
