It will be another opportunity for outdoor summer shopping when the Tottenham Summer Market opens on Sunday, July 5.
The popular market has re-branded this year to better represent what it’s all about.
Most weekends, new vendors appear as organizers rotate most vendor spaces throughout the summer. This means you can attend every week and always see something new.
“This is a summer market,” explained Christa Barber-Lacey, Committee Chair, at the Tottenham Beeton District Chamber of Commerce. “It’s held every Sunday from noon to 4 p.m. This year we have a bit of a refresh and a rebrand. It goes along with the Sunday Music in the Park series.”
The day provides a fun and entertaining summer afternoon.
Many residents visit the vendor’s area to see what’s new and check out new products and services, then stay for the music in the park.
Each week, a solo acoustic performer opens the show, with a band being the main feature.
The music series draws a large crowd every Sunday.
The market is still looking for new vendors to attend this year.
“We want new vendors to come out,” Christa said. “We’re keeping the vendor rate the same at $45.”
If a vendor wants to secure a spot, they can visit online at TBDCC.org.
