The Town of New Tecumseth is celebrating a significant milestone in the construction of Fire Station 4 in Alliston.
On Dec. 12, Mayor Richard Norcross and Council gathered on site to commemorate this achievement by signing a piece of structural steel — a symbolic gesture of council’s commitment to public safety, community growth, and future readiness.
“This milestone is more than steel and concrete,” said Mayor Richard Norcross, “it represents our collective commitment to keeping New Tecumseth safe, prepared, and resilient as our community continues to grow.”
With the structural steel framework now complete, construction will advance to exterior and interior work, bringing the new facility closer to serving residents.
“Fire Station 4 will enhance our ability to respond quickly and effectively, ensuring the safety of residents as our community expands,” said Fire Chief Dan Heydon. “This project reflects our dedication to providing modern, efficient fire services for years to come.”
