The Town of New Tecumseth is seeking input from residents about local housing needs and what direction the town should be taking when it comes to development.
A survey will help identify housing needs, priorities, and future opportunities for the community.
The Housing Strategy will help guide future housing-related decisions, policies, programs, and investments in New Tecumseth.
Building on the Town’s Housing Needs Assessment, the Strategy will identify actions that support a wider range of housing choices, improve affordability, reduce barriers to housing development, and help ensure residents of all ages and incomes can find suitable housing.
The town wants to hear from residents about:
• Current housing challenges
• Future housing priorities
• Housing types and options
• Affordability concerns
• Potential housing solutions
An online survey is available on the town’s website at: newtecumseth.ca/TownforEveryone
The survey takes approximately five minutes to complete and will be open until Dec. 18, 2026.
