The Town of New Tecumseth has a new Chief Administrative Officer.
Neil Garbe will join the Town effective June 3, 2024.
With more than 25 years of experience in municipal and regional levels of government, his significant leadership experience will be an asset to New Tecumseth.
“We are excited to have Neil join us,” said New Tecumseth Mayor Richard Norcross. “The extensive knowledge, experience, and leadership that he will bring to our organization will be beneficial to our growing community.”
Garbe has a Master of Urban and Regional Planning from Queen’s University and is a Registered Professional Planner.
“I am thrilled to be joining the Town of New Tecumseth team,” Garbe said. “I look forward to working with Council and leading staff as we work together to make New Tecumseth an even better place to live, visit, and do business in.”
Garbe previously served as the CAO in both Richmond Hill and Aurora, and most recently held the position of Commissioner, Community Development for the Town of Oakville.
