Town to host public meeting on Beeton development

The Town of New Tecumseth is hosting a public meeting next month regarding a proposed development in Beeton, where comments from local residents are welcome.

The town has received complete applications for a Zoning By-law Amendment and Redline Revision for 2953 10th Sideroad in Beeton.

This proposal includes updated zoning and a revised draft plan to allow up to 875 residential dwellings in Phase 2 of this development.

The property is located on the south side of Beeton, west of Patterson St. S.

Residents may submit written comments or register to speak at the meeting. The session will also be livestreamed on the Town of New Tecumseth’s YouTube channel.

Additional information, including details on participation and appeal rights, is available through the town’s planning and development department.

This public meeting will be held on Wednesday, March 11, beginning at 6 p.m., in the New Tecumseth Council Chambers at 24 Tupper Street West, Alliston.

If you would like to make a verbal statement at the public meeting regarding this proposed Zoning By-law Amendment and Redline Revision, you must register online by noon on Tuesday, March 10, at newtecumseth.ca/en/town-hall/speaking-before-council.aspx.

If you would like to make a written submission, you must make a written request to the Clerk, Town of New Tecumseth, at the Town administration centre, or via email at clerk@newtecumseth.ca.
