Track Your Plow app provides real-time data

When it snows, you may wonder what the plows and salt trucks are doing in your neighbourhood or if they are on their way.
The town’s Track You Plow web application provides New Tecumseth residents with that information during a winter event.
You can go online and see where street maintenance is being done and if they are plowing or spreading salt or sand.
The app has a map that shows recent maintenance activity with either a Green Trail, cleared within the last eight hours, a Yellow Trail, cleared within the last eight to 16 hours, or an Orange Trail, cleared within the last 16 to 24 hours. A Grey Trail, means there is no maintenance being done.
This Track Your Plow service is available 24/7 and updated automatically to provide residents with up-to-date information.
A ‘search address’ feature is also available. An address may be entered and the map will zoom to a specific location.
You can get the app by going on the Town’s website at www.newtecumseth.ca.
