If you enjoy an intimate music performance in an outdoor setting, Tunes in the Trees, presented by the Nottawasaga Conservation Authority, will provide an evening of music set in the beautiful Tiffin Conservation Area.
The concert will raise funds to help maintain conservation areas in the Nottawasaga Watershed.
On stage will be performers Rick Groves and Edward St. Moritz.
Rick Groves started playing music when he was very young and was influenced by bands like the Beatles, CCR, The Guess Who, America, and artists who are singer/songwriters such as Gordon Lightfoot. Edward St. Moritz composes his own songs and has played at many open mic nights throughout the province.
He performs songs lyrically driven in a post-folk style, fusing elements of Celtic sensibility, classical Old World influence, and gritty observation.
Ed has recorded two albums – ‘Small Things Shining Bright’ and ‘A Bit of Change.’
The concert will take place at the Tiffin Centre on Thursday, Oct. 19, from 7:00 to 9 p.m., and includes a 15-minute intermission.
The doors open at 6:30 p.m., and parking is free with a ticket. Spaces are limited, so pre-purchasing tickets is recommended by organizers.
You can purchase tickets online by visiting the website at www.nvca.on.ca.
