Two vehicle thefts in Alliston under investigation

The Nottawasaga Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is investigating two vehicle thefts overnight in Alliston.

On Feb. 12, at 3:28 a.m., officers responded to a call for service to a home on Walnut Street in Alliston, where the homeowner reported they had just heard their white 2023 Toyota Tundra pickup truck start in the driveway then depart southbound on their street.

On Feb. 12, at 5:17 a.m. officers received another report of a black 2024 Toyota Tundra that had been stolen overnight in that same area on Gordon Drive in Alliston. The vehicle was last seen around midnight.

Witnesses stated they observed the suspects vehicles being a dark grey larger European model SUV and a white Mercedes SUV with one suspect driving and a passenger that would steal the vehicles.

Police conducted extensive patrols of the area and were unable to locate the suspect vehicles.
