The Nottawasaga Valley Conservation Authority’s Families in Nature & Wellness Retreats offer a chance to slow down, breathe deeply, and rediscover what it means to be together as a family.
This is an opportunity for you to enjoy yoga while the kids explore hands-on outdoor experiences designed to inspire curiosity, confidence, and connection.
These sessions take place at the Tiffin Centre for Conservation, where winter’s quiet beauty creates a perfect setting for family connection and personal rejuvenation.
You can begin your experience with a walk through the woods and enjoy 15 to 30 minutes of quiet reflection guided by the sights, sounds, and sensations of nature.
As the walk transitions into yoga practice, movement and mindfulness flow together beneath the forest canopy. Seasonal nature soundscapes help deepen your meditation, while the earthly stillness nurtures clarity and calm.
Each session concludes with a moment of stillness – a cup of tea in hand or a peaceful time in your personal sit spot – allowing relaxation to settle in fully.
Both Nature-Infused Yoga and Family Nature Experiences are offered on:
Sessions will take place from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
