If you ever wondered how you can help make New Tecumseth a better place to live by volunteering your services and skills, the Rotary Club of Alliston will be hosting its third annual Volunteer Fair to connect individuals with local community organizations.
All the charities and community organizations serving New Tecumseth do wonderful work meeting the needs of families, the disabled, the homeless, the hungry, and the unemployed. There is a not-for-profit organization ready to support pretty much anyone in the community who needs help.
However, these organizations can’t do their valuable work without volunteers.
If you would like to make a difference in the community, you can attend the Volunteer Fair and learn how you can play a vital role in making New Tecumseth a great place to live.
Many of the leading charities and community organizations in New Tecumseth will be at the fair and will share their story, as well as explain the ways you can help one or more of them. You can see which organization would be right for you.
You can find the perfect match for the skills, interests, and commitment you can bring to the table.
The Volunteer Fair will take place on Saturday, Feb. 8 in the upstairs meeting room of the Alliston Memorial Arena on Nelson Street in Alliston.
The event is free to attend and will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
