I look forward to the Times arriving in my mail box weekly. I enjoy the local news especially that reported by Brian Lockhart. I read the paper cover to cover including all of the columnists. Again my favourite is Brian as we are closer in age and I relate to his opinions more so than the others.
I am glad to see Frank Stronach coming on board. I’m sure he’ll quickly become another writer that I will have a great interest in.
Frank was interested in buying my group of newspapers when I put them on the market back in 2008. It didn’t work out though and London Publishing became the successful buyer.
You guys continue to do a great job in producing a number of interesting small-town newspapers. I just hope the local advertisers realize how important they are in the livelihood of these newspapers and continue promoting their own businesses through these pages. There are still a lot of newspaper readers out there. We’re not all addicted to social media,
