Tottenham Municipal Speed Camera

Two weeks ago, on a Sunday morning before 5 am, I drove through Tottenham returning from the airport.
As with many school zones, speed limits for 40 km/hr are in effect during school days and hours.
Not so in Tottenham, where I was tagged at 56 km/hr by a speed camera I was not aware of. The fine? An outrageous $108.00.
I am assuming Council set the fine parameters for this camera. A fine of $60 would have made the point, but over $100 is nothing short of a blatant cash grab.
With such a bad taste in my mouth, my regular shopping trips to Tottenham are now a thing of the past. Well done, Council-NOT!
