Enjoy the winter at WinterFest 2026 in Alliston

If it’s going to be cold and snowy, you might as well take advantage of the season and have some winter fun.
WinterFest 2026 will be taking place in Alliston at the New Tecumseth Recreation Centre on Saturday, Feb. 7, and will offer a day of fun and activities for all ages.
If you get too cold, there will also be indoor activities in the Rec Centre.
Horse drawn wagon rides with some magnificent strong horses will take visitors around the Rec Centre. You can also take a ride on the Winterfest train.
A magic show with WonderPhil Magic will take place at 12:00 noon. and 2:00 p.m.
You can visit with some alpacas as Maple Trail Farm returns with Wanda and Cetina.
A maple taffy station will allow you to sample some winter treats.
You can capture your Winterfest memories at the photo booth, and meet your local firefighters will be taking part in the day’s events.
Indoors, there will be free ice skating from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
There will be face painting and the Tiny Bean Softplay Zone – a perfect place for toddler fun.
Enjoy carnival games and meet your favourite mascots who will be greeting everyone to attends the event.
WinterFest 2026 will take place on Saturday, Feb. 7, from 11:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the New Tecumseth Recreation Centre.
