Volunteers play an important part in the community by giving their time to help with local activities, events, and to help fellow residents.

If you have ever thought about getting involved, you can learn about various opportunities at the Volunteer Fair hosted by the New Tecumseth Rotary Club.

Local charities and community groups do incredible work helping families, supporting people in need, and building a stronger, more connected town, but they can’t do it alone.

The Volunteer Fair is a chance to meet the people behind the scenes and learn about all the volunteer organizations in New Tecumseth.

You will be able to speak with representatives from various organizations and learn about volunteer opportunities that are the perfect fit for you, based on your time, interests, and skills.

Whether you have limited time or a lot of time on your hands, there is a place for you as a local volunteer.

Up to 25 local organizations will be at the event to answer questions and share what they do and how they contribute to the community.

If you have a special skill or ability that you can use to help others, you will be able to find out which organization could best use your talents to help others.

Many people enjoy passing on their knowledge to help others achieve their goals.

The Volunteer Fair will take place on Saturday, Feb. 7, at the Alliston Memorial Arena in the upstairs hall, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

It costs nothing to attend, and you will meet plenty of people and see how you can volunteer to help enrich the lives of others in the town.
