Ontario Provincial Police seeking new recruits

The Ontario Provincial Police are looking for people to join their ranks.

OPP is one of North America’s largest deployed police with 5,800 uniformed officers, 2,600 civilian members and 600 auxiliary members.

The OPP is united by one vision: Safe Communities, A Secure Ontario.

The police service is in 320 communities across the province and has a total patrol area that includes over one million square kilometres of land and waterways, and the service patrols over 127,000 kilometres of provincial roadways.

They have many specialized units, including drug enforcement, aviation, explosive disposal, search and rescue, canine, and emergency response.
