Express Bantams suffer loss to Orangeville

The TNT Express Bantam team had a good showing in Sunday’s (June 4) game against the Orangeville Outlaws, but an early lead by the visitors put the Express behind and they couldn’t make up the difference later in the game.

Relay for Life raises $53,000 in Alliston

On Friday, June 9, cancer survivors, those currently battling the disease and friends and families came together at the PPG/Alliston Fairgrounds for the annual Relay For Life fundraiser. Benefitting the Barrie Chapter of the Canadian Cancer Society (that supports New Tecumseth and its residents), the event raised $53,000 through pledges and donations.

Official opening and naming for Ruthven Park

The Town of New Tecumseth, together with HBNG Holborn Group, officially opened and named Ruthven Park May 29. Ruthven Park, located at 233 Church St. N. is an innovative park, designed by Landscape Planning, Landscape Architects and Town of New Tecumseth staff and developed by HBNG Holborn Group to fulfill the Town's recreation needs.
