The County of Simcoe’s LINX Transit service is expanding its presence in Bradford West Gwillimbury by adding stop extensions to Route 5 with service scheduled to begin on July 2. Route 5 provides access to the heart of the town centres of Alliston, Beeton, and Bradford.
The expansion will make daily commutes smoother and more convenient for those travelling in the area.
With the expansion of Route 5, there will be 13 brand new bus stops placed along Holland Street in Bradford. These stops have been strategically placed to better serve residents, whether they are heading to work, school, or out for leisure activities.
The route also acts as a gateway to essential connections.
By riding Route 5, you can reach the Bradford Go station. You can also access the New Tecumseth Recreation Centre, Bradford West Gwillimbury Leisure Centre, and you can transfer between LINX and Bradford West Gwillimbury Transit services.
LINX Transit continues to be committed to affordability. Fares range from $2 to $4 per ride, making it budget-friendly.
Buses run hourly with the first trips starting at 5:20 a.m., and final the final trip departing at 5:20 p.m.
You can download the Transit App to track your next bus in real-time.
