A film screened at the Gibson Centre in Alliston on Sunday, May 24, raises many questions about deaths possibly linked to the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine.
Beeton resident Sean Hartman, a healthy 17-year-old hockey player, died suddenly in 2021 with no explanation. An autopsy did not reveal the cause of death.
As a minor hockey player, Sean was required to get the COVID-19 vaccine if he wanted to play the sport.
Within a couple of days after getting the shot, Sean started feeling ill.
He was found dead in his room a couple of weeks later.
Sean’s dad, Dan, started looking for answers as to why his healthy young son would die unexpectedly. Everything he uncovered pointed to the vaccine and side effects, which have also possibly killed thousands of others around the continent, according to the film.
The film “The Shot: Sean Hartman’s Story” examines the potential side effects of the vaccine.
Several people involved in this investigation were at the screening, including doctors, a police detective, and two families from the U.S. who lost children in a similar fashion.
When film producer Jason Lavigne and director Dean Rainey started working on the film, they hit a wall of silence. No one, on record, would discuss the possible dangerous side effects of the Pfizer vaccine.
The more they investigated, the more they realized that people were afraid to talk, fearing reprisals.
Finally, they found doctors who would provide a medical and scientific opinion. Those doctors have since been censured by regulatory bodies.
Ottawa Police Service Detective Helen Grus, who was also at the screening, found herself in hot water after investigating baby deaths possibly linked to the vaccine.
After investigating a cluster of sudden infant deaths – three times the normal rate – with a possible vaccine connection, Grus was told by superiors to never speak of the vaccines again. She was later charged with and convicted of ‘discreditable conduct’ related to her investigation.
Grus will learn the result of those charges in June.
“He was perfectly healthy. Nothing was ever wrong with my son,” Dan Hartman said before the screening, as to why he continues to look for answers. “I have all of his medical records. This is a boy who never smoked cigarettes, never had a drop of alcohol in his life. He was rushed to the emergency department four days after his shot. The doctor there didn’t do any blood work or any tests at all. They just sent him home. That was at the beginning of COVID, and I don’t think doctors understood it all back then, but so many more are waking up now. When they did the autopsy in Toronto, his cause of death came back as unascertained. That’s extremely rare.”
Looking for answers, tissue samples from Sean’s body were sent to a top pathologist in the US. That pathologist determined a connection between Sean’s death and the vaccine.
Dan has since launched two lawsuits against Health Canada and Pfizer.
When he first decided to go ahead with the lawsuits, he approached five top law firms in Toronto. None of them would be part of a suit against a large pharmaceutical company – especially one involving a COVID vaccine.
The wall of silence and fear surrounding the vaccine was again preventing progress.
Finally, Dan found a lawyer in British Columbia who was willing to take the case.
The film is well-researched and features expert opinions.
It is rather sad as it delves into the heartbreak associated with the loss of a child.
The film is also being shown at locations across Canada and the US.
