Local family receives $2,944 donation from the Nottawasaga Foundation

On Friday, July 21, The Nottawasaga Foundation presented a cheque for $2,944.00 to the Morrison family. The Morrisons’ seven-year-old daughter Shannon was born with multiple health challenges that requires her to use a wheelchair almost daily for her endurance problems and safety when out in crowds. This donation from the Foundation will be used to purchase a new wheelchair for Shannon who has outgrown the existing one that she has been using since the age of two and a half.

All Day for Jordyn at Domino’s Pizza

Over the past few years, Robert Hiltz and Matthew Bolton, owners of Domino’s Pizza Alliston, have done much to give back to the community. But this time their plan is bigger than ever. On Wednesday, Aug. 9, one hundred per cent of all pizza sales from the time they open at 10 a.m. until they close at 11 p.m., will be donated to the Andrews family of New Tecumseth to help offset costs associated with their daughters illness.
